In recent years, the vegetable, flower and fruit industry in Vietnam has made great progress, especially in the export sector promising to make Vietnam become a major exporter of fruit and vegetables in the world. Besides, it is an urgent requirement for improving production, improving quality, applying high technology in manufacturing, processing, preserving, packing, transporting to participate in the whole supply chain, meeting strict requirements of export markets as well as competition in the domestic market.
Accompanying with the development and integration of Vietnam’s fruit and vegetable industry, Minh Vi Exhibition and Advertisement Services Co., Ltd. (VEAS) in collaboration with Nova Exhibitions Company (Netherlands) has successfully organized the annual HortEx Vietnam exhibition. HortEx Vietnam 2019 attracted more than 200 companies from 28 countries around the world and more than 6,495 trade visitors.
Continuing the success of the two previous editions, HortEx Vietnam 2020 will be held from 26 to 28 February, 2020 at SECC, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City in order to create opportunities for businesses to meet potential customers, enhance business development, as well as update information on the domestic and world markets.
Asian – European market is an important market for fruit and vegetable import and export of Vietnam, of which there are 8 countries and territories in TOP TEN fruit and vegetable export market and 6 countries and territories in TOP TEN fruit and vegetable import market. At the seminar, representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Vietnam Fruit and Vegetable Association (Vinafruit), and Vietnamese and international experts will hold a panel discussion about new movements in Asia – Main export markets for Vietnamese Vegetables, Flowers and Fruit, and EV FTA – From the viewpoint of businesses in vegetable, fruit and agriculture trading. Seminar is the event in the series of seminars in Ho Chi Minh City, Dalat, Hanoi.
